Scentwork for Impulsive and Excitable Dogs.

Scent Work has been proven to bolster confidence, create resillience, boost endorphins and create a general sense of wellbeing in dogs.
But, group classes, where we can learn these skills with our dogs, are not always the best enviroment for the dogs who possibly need scent work the most.
Until now.
This 4 week course is designed to provide you and your dog a small, safe, group setting where you're set up to succeed. Each dog will work within their own comfort zone ensuring that they have a positive experience in a new location, around new people and new dogs.
Week 1 is online. Learn the fundamentals of scent work from the comfort of home and have a series of exercises to start practising before your first in person class. You will have the opportunity to discuss your dog's needs with the other particpants so that you're confident that your dog will not be put into a situation they may struggle with when you come to the in person classes.
Weeks 2, 3 and 4 are 1 hour classes held in my training field in Carleen
Who is this class for?
Dogs who struggle around other dogs or people. Dogs who may bark at other dogs, get over excited around other dogs, or who just don't know how to engage with other dogs.
I know first hand, just how incredible the power of scent work is. Sam, my border collie struggles around people... unless he's doing scent work. We had to teach ourselves though, as there were no classes suitable for him. This is the class that I would have LOVED to have found 7 or 8 years ago, when we started our scent work journey.
