Loose Lead Masterclass
Being dragged around on a walk is no fun. It's not fun for us, but just as importantly it's not much fun for our dog either.
Does you dog drag you out of the front door?
Do your shoulders, arms and hands hurt after each walk?
Do you wish that you and your dog had more connection on a walk?
Does your dog walk nicely on lead UNTIL they realise that they're heading to the beach / woods / park / Towans / (insert any other favourite location here!)?
Does the sight of another dog leave you in fear of being dragged over?
Or maybe your dog is just always at the lead applying a bit of pressure to get you to walk a little faster?
Have you been told that your dog won't ever walk well on a lead because they're a working cocker spaniel / labrador / jack russel terrier / (insert any other breed here!)?
If you answered 'Yes!' to any of these questions the this programme is for you.
Over two x 1 hour group sessions (max 4 dogs) you will learn:
- why your dog pulls
- how to encourage your dog to focus on you when out
- become more thoughtful about how your dog moves through the environment
- learn the 'do's and don'ts' of lead handling
- give you the tools to understand how to help your dog to succeed
The Master Class is held at our Carleen Training Field. For full directions please see
