What is Hoopers?
Hoopers is an agility style sport that is low impact on your dogs joints but high on the fun scale! You and your dog will learn to navigate a course made up of hoops, barrels and tunnels.
Why Hoopers?
Hoopers is a great way to exercise your dog mentally and physically whilst building a great working relationship with your dog.
As with all Love Your Paws training only kind, thoughtful, rewards based methods are used and the aim is always for you and your dog to enjoy spending quality time together.
Who is Hoopers for?
Anyone! Hoopers is suitable for all breeds and ages (6 months minimum).
What do you need to bring?
- Your dog! Wearing a flat collar, and harness if you use one.

As always, absolutely amazing. Eadie and I are just finishing up this course and I wish we could do it all over again. Hoopers is a great way to help build not only your dog's confidence but your own as well. I was amazed at how quickly Eadie picked everything up, but even when she struggles, Vicki showed me how I could make things easier through more clear communication. Vicki is really patient - even when my 12 month old Cockapoo has her mandatory 10 minute zoomies. She gives brilliant advice on how to help us both focus and work together. She is also so aware of my dog's limits, which is so refreshing.
We've done a lot of classes with Vicki and they are all brilliant and bring another dimension to my partnership with my pooch. Life skills is about helping my dog learn how to be confident and thrive in a human world. Scent work is about building trust with my dog - I need to trust she knows what she is doing and can smell something so small I have no way of finding it. Hoopers is about us both working together and teaching me how to communicate clearly.
Vicki is an expert in training humans how to communicate with their dogs and enable them to thrive!
I can't wait for more courses!
